this space has been created out of the ground, with the clay dug from right there where it stands mixed with dung and straw and water, mulch mulch, and slapping the mud cakes in between the upright timber, some logs to go inbetween the mud cakes, so its very earthy…. with carpets and membrane on the roof and turf to cover it up, which is an excellent insulation, oak boards on the floor, the whole thing is very basic primitive, simple and natural, again windows, doors panels are all recycled material, a Quebb wood burner, keeps it warm and cosy, sheepskin and rugs on the floor. The outdoor furniture made by Dale, the outdoor guru, a real nature Guy at heart, I just love what he does.. A dome in the centre to let the sunshine in and stargaze at night . A kettle on the wood burner, with a 50's kitchen cupboard with all you need for your tea and coffee. Out of the door the 3 Hobs oven and grill, cooking facility, under the eves. The Decking in front joins the boardwalk to the wash basin, shower block and the compost toilet, a fridge tucked in the corner of the shower block. On the decking a Whisky barrel is waiting for you to soak in hot water or cold on very hot days..... overlooking the black mountains and the Brecon Beacons.
With his and his partners consent.... Lovely guest has tried them all.....
Thank you Dale for the amazing woodwork forest furniture.. Wagons, whatever you can think of wood.....
